There seems to be a number of new football leagues cropping up arond town. STYFL encourages you to do your research on what league best suits you and your child’s needs.

Here are a few points to keep in mind:

• San Tan Youth Football is starting it's tenth year as a Queen Creek based competitive youth football league. This has always been and continues to be an all-volunteer organization. There are no national charter fees or director salaries as are found in many of the other organizations.
• We are a local organization with rules that are designed to work for the players and coaches of STYFL. We work to continually improve our league and have empowered a team of General Managers to ensure greater communication and make sure our parents and families are more connected and have a voice within the league.
• We have BY FAR the most affordable football program in the east valley.
• We are the sole partner football program with the Town of Queen Creek.
• Our Junior High program develops and prepares players for the Queen Creek High School football program and we are working with surrounding schools to provide the same opportunity.
• There is no traveling required for our youth teams. All games and practices are held in Queen Creek. (The JH teams do travel and have had the opportunity to play in many great locations including NAU due to a long-standing relationship with STYFL and other JH porgrams in Arizona.)

Perhaps some of these upstart programs think they can run a better football program for Queen Creek; or they were unable to work within the structure of STYFL. We know that some of them are motivated by profit and want to run a business more than a volunteer organization serving the community and your children. Whatever the reasons, these programs will come and go; San Tan Youth Football has been doing it successfully for 10 years. We encourage you to join a proven league that is dedicated to youth football in the Town of Queen Creek.
