There will be no refunds for any reason.

If your child is unable to participate for any reason after registration your payment will be considered a charitable contribution to STYFL and we will gladly provide you a receipt for you to claim the contribution for tax purposes.

• Registration Fees:
  • Normal Registration - $120 (4/17 – 6/15)
  • Late Registration - $199 (6/16 – 7/15) Late registrations drive up costs with uniforms and planning. We encourage everyone to register early.
  • JH fees are $25 more than those shown above.
  • Equipment rental - $30 (See note below)
• Equipment rental fee is being separated from the registration fee. We have found that it is far easier to plan and track the league equipment if we manage this on an individual player basis. Equipment rental is $30 and we have adjusted the registration fees down so that the normal registration is the same as last year. Equipment rental consists of helmet, shoulder pads, and 7-piece pad set. If you choose to rent equipment you will receive all of these items (even if you are on a club that provides their own helmets) and you will be responsible to return them in a clean condition. You must select the equipment rental payment option when registering in order to receive equipment.
• All players will be expected to provide the following:
  • Cleats
  • Mouthpiece (colored with keeper strap per AIA guidelines)
  • Practice pants
• Online registration is vastly improved from last year. You will need to register multiple players separately, but it will be much clearer than last year. STYFL does not collect, handle, or store any credit card information.Your online payment will be managed by Element Payment Services as opposed to Paypal which will eliminate some of the Paypal account confusion from last year. The process is far simpler and we appreciate any feedback you have so we can continue to improve it.
• We are using a new Leaguetek server this year so you should be able to create a new User ID and Password. Please make a note of your User ID and Password for future use.
• STYFL is committed to provide both competitive and instructional opportunities. In 2009, we will play the instructional quarter as a pre-game. Additional coaching will be the standard expectation during this quarter to help these players learn and enjoy the game. All players will play a significant number of plays each Saturday. This may be in the pre-game quarter, the 4 quarter game, or a combination of the two. Please see this article for an open letter related to instructional play. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
• Ages and Weights:
  • Mighty Mite - 7 and 8 years old to 85 lbs; 9 years old to 70 lbs
  • Jr Pee Wee - 9 and 10 years old to 110 lbs; 11 years old to 80 lbs
  • Pee Wee - 11 and 12 years old to 130 lbs; 8th graders must play in Jr High division 
  • Jr High - Enrolled in 7th or 8th grade
    • All ages determined as of June 1st
• Please double check the information you enter into the registration form. Your contact information is obviously extremely critical so we can contact you for certification and team placement.
• Certification and equipment pick up dates are being determined. Watch the website (www.styfl.com) and your email for updates.
• Practices will begin in August and the season runs into the beginning of November.
• Flag football registration will take place later in the summer.
